Bead Jewelry

The Glass Beads in Singing Lemur Jewelry are made from raw materials, mostly Italian Soft Glass, or Soda Lime Glass, at an Oxygen Propane blow torch.  Styles vary from the serious to the purely whimsical,  depending on anything from what I had for breakfast, to the phase of the moon.

Art Glass Bead jewelry is set in Sterling Silver components utilizing wire wrap techniques.

All beads are annealed for strength.  Wire wrap provides solid connections that won't come apart. Annealed beads do not break easily.  Throw them with some force on cement, and they will likely break, but annealed glass in bead form is quite durable.  There are glass beads that have survived for thousands of years, intact.   Singing Lemur Beads are lead free.
